Here is a chance to join the Infrastructure team in a rewarding role, which plays an important part in the delivery of effective road safety strategies. Road Safety Advisors work with community groups, Local and State Government agencies and the private sector to engage and facilitate participation in the delivery of the WA road safety strategy. The role offers travel within the designated region and may require work outside normal business hours. A vehicle will be provided for work purposes.

Applications are sought from suitably skilled and experienced applicants interested in working in either the Pilbara region or from our West Leederville office.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and ability in facilitation, networking and relationship building across a variety of stakeholder groups, and experience in researching, planning and implementing projects. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal are essential. Knowledge of contemporary road safety issues and initiatives as outlined in the WA road safety strategy and familiarity with or understanding of regional issues is highly desirable.

Given the travel requirements of the role, a "C" class driver's licence is required and applicants who are successful in the shortlisting process may be subject to a preemployment medical as part of WALGA's recruitment process.
